Open Range Home's "Landfill Reduction" Initiative
Construction waste is one of the largest contributors to overflowing landfills in the United States. This problem was exemplified in Teton Valley, Idaho where the recent boom in construction resulted in the local landfill being filled to capacity and closed. Construction waste is now collected at a transfer station before being hauled off to another County; dramatically increasing the dumping fees which other builder's pass on as a cost of construction to the project Owner.
- Construction waste is sorted on-site into recycle bins
- All wood, metal, plastic, and consumer debris is sent to recycle facilities or sold as scrap in the retail market
- Building materials are delivered to job site daily vs. stored on-site
- 100% reduction in damaged material caused by inclement weather
- Unused building materials are transported back to safe storage areas
- Material restocked and credit given to Client's account
